Where we route AC installation requests

This site covers the City of Los Angeles and fourteen nearby Los Angeles County cities, checked by ZIP code. What changes from city to city is the permit office, the electric utility and the climate, not the equipment.

How coverage is checked

The quote form accepts Los Angeles County ZIP codes beginning 900 to 918 and tells you straight away if yours is outside. Partner contractors are still being confirmed, so a covered ZIP is not a promise that a contractor is ready; we tell you if none is.

Cities and what differs

Los Angeles-area cities covered, their electric utility and local variable
CityElectric utilityWhat differs

Questions

Which ZIP codes does this site cover?

Los Angeles County ZIPs from 900xx to 918xx, minus Orange County, Catalina, the Conejo Valley, the Santa Clarita Valley and the San Bernardino and Riverside county ZIPs inside those ranges. The form checks your ZIP before you send anything.

Why does my city matter if the equipment is the same?

The permit office, the electric utility and its rebates, the climate and the housing stock differ. A Valley house sees far more 90 °F days than a coastal one, and Burbank and Pasadena run their own utilities.

Is there a contractor in my area?

We are still confirming partner contractors. If none covers your ZIP when you submit, we email you and say so rather than passing your request on.

Get a quote to check against these numbers

  1. Tell us about the job. Service, ZIP, property and timing. The form says right away if your ZIP is outside the area.
  2. We check the license first. Requests go only to contractors whose CSLB C-20 license we have matched on the state register. If none covers your ZIP yet, we email you and say so.
  3. Compare what comes back. Line the written quote up against the published ranges and the quote checklist.

No cost and no obligation. We are a publisher, not a contractor; contractors pay us for introductions. How that works.
